A while back I heard that Robert Redford and Paul Newman weregoing to star in a film version of Bill Bryson's hilarious romp "AWalk in the Woods." When I search on the Internet I can only findreferences to that possibility that are a couple of years old. Doyou know anything more current?

Elizabeth, the prospective Redford-Newman team-up, which mighthave brought back memories of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"and "The Sting," was scuttled when Newman decided to retire.Redford, who bought the rights to the book several years ago, isstill on the project as a producer and star, and the film isprojected as a 2009 release.
